🎉This guide shows you how to install and enable the AdsPower extension in Octoparse AI.
Step 1: Install AdsPower
Go to the AdsPower official website and follow the installation instructions.
Step 2: Open Octoparse AI
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Step 3: Open the Tools Menu
Select "Extensions" from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Install the AdsPower Extension
Click "Install" below the AdsPower extension.
Step 5: Open AdsPower and Create a New Profile
Create a new profile and keep the default settings.
Step 6: Enable the Extension in the New Profile
Open the new profile.
There are two ways to enable the AdsPower extension:
- If you see an error in the top-right corner of the AdsPower browser window, click the “New extension added (Octoparse AI Automation)” message at the top. In the pop-up window, select Enable extension. 
- Alternatively, go to the address bar in the AdsPower browser and type - chrome://extensions/. Find the Octoparse AI Automation extension and click Enable.
Step 7: Test AdsPower in Octoparse AI
To test if AdsPower is working correctly:
- Open your AdsPower profile and copy the Profile ID. 
- In the Octoparse AI, click "+ App." 
- In the left sidebar, search for the "Go to Webpage" command, then drag it into the editing area on the right. 
- Select "AdsPower" for the Browser type, enter any website URL, and paste the Profile ID in the Browser ID field. 
Click "Run" — if the webpage opens successfully, you've installed the AdsPower extension!
Troubleshooting Errors
If you encounter any of these errors, check the possible causes and try fixing them:
- Error: Please check if the AdsPower interface is enabled 
 Possible Cause:- The AdsPower profile was not opened before clicking "Run." 
- The Browser ID/ Profile ID entered is incorrect. 
 
- Error: Browser does not have the plugin installed yet. Please install and enable the Octoparse AI plugin in AdsPower first. 
 Possible Cause:- The AdsPower extension hasn’t been installed (see Steps 2-4). 
- The extension was installed but not enabled (see Steps 5-6).
