Excel Block Splitter

Overview

Quickly split any Excel or CSV file into custom-sized blocks, with options to skip or include headers and export as XLSX or CSV.

How to Use

2.1 First-time setup
Make sure you've installed the Octoparse AI client and completed the setup — including installing and enabling the browser extension — before running this app.

2.2 Download and launch
Download the app from the Octoparse AI App Store. Then go to your app list in the client and click "Run" to launch it.

2.4 Input parameters
Fill in the required parameters before running the app:

• File: Select the Excel or CSV file to split.
• Block Sizes: Enter block sizes in order, separated by commas; remaining rows form the last block automatically.
• Sheet Name: Name of the worksheet to split (for .xlsx files only).
• Header Option: Choose whether to skip or include the header row.
• Output Folder: Select the folder where the split files will be saved.
• Output Format: Choose the output file format: xlsx or csv.

Output

Each block is saved as a separate XLSX or CSV file at your chosen folder, with headers included if selected.

Notes

• Please close any active Excel files before running the app to avoid conflicts.
